Yanik Guillemette
Chair of the External Advisory Committee – Innovation and AI
Yanik Guillemette has been an entrepreneur, investor, and business builder for over 25 years. An entrepreneur since the age of 15, he has participated in the creation, financing, and growth of numerous companies in the technology, real estate, e-commerce, and digital media sectors.
Today, he primarily focuses his activities on innovation, artificial intelligence, and supporting high-potential young companies. As Chairman of the external advisory committee on innovation and artificial intelligence, he contributes to discussions surrounding the adoption of emerging technologies and their impact on Canadian organizations.
An active investor, he holds stakes in GURU Organic Energy, Hikerkind, Bezel, and FranShares, among others. He has also participated, as a developer or partner, in real estate projects representing over $100 million in cumulative value.
In 2018, Yanik was appointed to represent Canada in G20-related initiatives, a recognition of his commitment to entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic development.
Convinced that entrepreneurs play an essential role in wealth and innovation creation, he founded the Yanik Guillemette Entrepreneurship Scholarship to support the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Married and a father of two daughters, he divides his time between his business activities, investments, and his passion for the outdoors, hiking, and travel. His natural curiosity continues to fuel his mission: to build, invest in, and support the entrepreneurs who are shaping tomorrow's economy.
